Thomas F. O’Grady received his Ph.D. in Mathematical and Statistical Economics from the University of California at Berkeley. Since the age of 12 he’s been interested in entrepreneurial activities. He rose to the top in Soviet intelligence, broke Soviet codes 3 times; extended Nobel Laureate Daniel McFadden’s work at GM Research labs; as head of Chase Automotive Division reached profitability the chairman and president insisted was not possible; to international recognition in his international consulting firm; a top trainer in Advanced Programming and Database Development, wrote Database Developer’s Guide to Microsoft SQL Server (7); completely redirected corporate initiatives into customer focus. Besides hard work, he credits his success to constant independent learning and states that he learns from each person he meets.
Formerly, he assisted many executives and companies researching feasibility and positioning for products, divisions and companies. The list of people he directly advised includes Lee Iacocca and Alan Greenspan, and companies including Toyota, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, TRW, Fuji and Microsoft. Matt’s vision of Triple R Marketing is key to his core belief and operating principles, driving him to create distinguished customer experiences, “Customer experiences are not planned based on data, they happen when you empower the right people who love what they do, and I love what I do.”
As a leader in the industry, Matt has been asked to speak at wide range of organizations including, but not limited to, Hamilton Co Sports Summit, International Association of Venue Managers, Indiana State Fair Association, and the Sports Indiana Education Session on topics of search engine optimization, social media, and customer experiences.
Customer experience is integral to his work. He believes satisfied customer are not a level of success, as being satisfied is the bare minimum we will accept in today’s social world. With this customer-centric business philosophy, business acumen and commitment to rapid, reliable results he and his staff have retained over 96% of his customers.
He is also a successful serial entrepreneur. For years, Ruedlinger had given his clients Joan’s Caramels on their birthdays and was met with tremendous positive response. Clients loved the personal touch of receiving caramels and Ruedlinger was able to form many friendships through his sincere gesture. The homemade caramels quickly became a key part of Ruedlinger’s business. When he got word that the store was closing, the entrepreneur in him kicked in. He knew he had to reach an agreement with Fischer to keep the caramels available for everyone. In January of 2016, Ruedlinger took over as the new owner of Joan’s Caramels. Having the ability to brand products to put the caramels in, has added an additional layer to set Triple R Marketing apart from their competition. He also developed an app called Fanvious that allows food and merchandise to be delivered to your seat while at a sporting event or concert. With the success of the app he has been featured on the weekly television program Inside Indiana and also spoke at the IAVM 2015 Arena Management Conference on the ‘New Technology for Improved Fan Engagement.’
When Matt is not at the office or traveling for work, he continues to wear or buy anything to do with Superman. He is a devoted marketing nerd that enjoys running, superhero movies and vacation with his family.
